This is usually the first painting I have people do in my classes. We use a 1" brush for most all of it.

We have Fine Art Painting Classes for both Children and Adults

If painting is something you always wanted to do or try and haven’t, or just thought it was something you couldn’t, this is the class for you!

Jack Knight will lead you step by step through the process and teach you the basic concepts of painting and more.

Learn

• Basic techniques of painting.
• Use of fine art tools.
• How to hold a brush and create brush strokes.
• Mix colors.
• Create depth and interest through light, shade and color.

Painting Class Enrollment

Painting Workshops are held in the Michaels Store Classrooms

To enroll simply see a Michaels Associate and tell them you would like to sign up for the Painting Class. Cost of the class is $25.00. Upon enrollment you will be given a class syllabus and list of supplies.

As classes require a minium of two students, we request that you enroll at least 24 hours before the class. If you need to enroll on the day of the class please call me and let me know.
