Art Events

We hold a number events throughout the Orange County area and in the communities beyond to provide fun, creative activities for the marginalized children and adults of all ages and backgrounds who might not otherwise have the opportunity to take part in unique kind of creative experiences we provide.

We use art to promote community through the social interaction that comes from the shared creative experience. We encourage the involvement of both young and old and all in-between.

Join us and Come paint upon a Star with Artist Jack Knight

Beckman Arts and Science Family Festival

Saturday September 15th from 10:00 - 2:00

at the

George Argyros Plaza
Segerstrom Center for the Arts

We will be joining our friends from Science Heads who will be there with their Mobile Observatory.

They will have a hands-on activity using prisms and diffraction gratings and Telescopes to view the sun with both regular visible light and with a hydrogen-alpha filter

Arts and Community will be providing the Art activity part of their presentation.

Open to Elementary School, Middle School and High School Students

Prizes awarded in all categories. We will be announcing the Grand prize in the next few days.
